SANIA MIRZA
On 28th June 2003, Sania won the Wimbledon Juniors Women's doubles
title along with her Russian partner Alisa Kleybanova,becoming the
first Indian girl to win a Grand Slam title. It was after 51 years
that an Indian girl reached the finals of a Grand Slam, the last
being Rita Dabur who had finished runners-up in the singles event
in 1952.

JET.SET.GO...!
fifty-seven years after test pilot Chuck Yeager broke
the sound barrier, NASA has made aeronautics history by launching
an experimental jet that reached a record velocity of just over seven
times the speed of sound on March 29, 2004. It is the first time
a supersonic-combustion ramjet, or scramjet, which burns hydrogen
mixed with oxygen from the atmosphere, had traveled so fast.
