The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Great Pyramid of Giza, is the oldest, yet the only surviving of the Seven Ancient Wonders and the most famous pyramid in the world. It is presumed to have served as the tomb of the 4th dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu (also known under his Greek name Cheops), after whom it is often called "Khufu's pyramid." It is the oldest and largest of the three great pyramids in the Giza necropolis on the outskirts of modern Cairo in Egypt. It took 100,000 men twenty years to complete building it. .........more
Avril Lavigne
Born in the small town of Napanee Ontario in 1985 to Judy and John, Avril Lavigne stood out from the crowd at an early age. Grooming up her musical talents in the church choir, she graduated onto country music competitions and eventually became a star when she won a competition in a radio contest. This allowed her to travel to Ontario and sing with Country legend Shania Twain!
