Paula Radcliffe-Marathon Queen Paula Jane Radcliffe is one of Britain's greatest distance runners. Born in Northwich, Cheshire, on December 17 1973, Radcliffe started running at the age of seven, dutifully accompanying her father, a brewery executive, for short distances during his marathon training. She broke the world record for the marathon during the London Marathon on April 13, 2003, running it in 2:15.25. Paula currently holds an amazing 10 world records. .........more |

Singing Sensation The Genesis story… NASA's $260m Genesis Mission is the first attempt to collect samples of the solar wind and return them to Earth. The spacecraft was launched successfully on August 8th 2001 and was placed 1.5 million km from the Earth, where it collected samples for over two years, bringing them back in 2004.
